Spouses Dividing Retirement Plan Assets During Life — June & August 2021. Virtual Seminars. In programs offered by the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), the American Academy of Matromonial Lawyers (AAML) and the American Bar Assocation, Attorney Clofine lectured on how retirement accounts and IRAs can be transferred between married couples as part of a plan to qualify for nursing home Medicaid benefits.
