
Attorney Matt Nace joined the firm in 2025 and advises clients on matters related to estate planning, estate and trust administration, Medicaid and long-term care planning, and related elder law matters.
Matt was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2022 and has experience with tax matters, commercial and residential real estate, corporate matters, and elder law. Matt believes in making the law accessible and ensures his clients feel respected, understood, and informed.
Matt’s passion for elder law began with his experience working as a certified legal intern in the University of Pittsburgh School of Law’s Sikov Elder Law Clinic. As a third-year law student, Matt provided estate planning services and representation in guardianship issues to low-income seniors.
He is a 2019 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with degrees in History and Political Science (BA), and a 2022 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (JD). During law school, Matt served as President of his graduating class and worked as a research assistant and a teaching assistant for Federal Civil Procedure and First-Year Legal Writing.
Following graduation, Matt spent over two years working as a Tax Analyst with a Pittsburgh accounting firm and a part-time Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, teaching courses in undergraduate legal writing.
A graduate of Dallastown High School, Matt and his family returned to the York area in 2024. Away from the office, Matt enjoys serving his community as a volunteer firefighter and is an Eagle Scout.
Matt is an active member of the Estate Planning and Probate Section of the York County Bar Association, Real Property & Probate and Elder Law Sections of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Attorneys. He is also a member of the York County Estate Planning Council and Leave A Legacy York County.
